Making a difference where we are?

We are pleased to be able to invite you to a new event of the network, in partnership with the Chapel for Europe, to take place on 6th March from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.  

 

A former European Commission official will present about her passion: poverty reduction. She founded an HIV testing and counselling centre in Malawi, which 4 years down the line has several sub-projects contributing to the main one.

Christmas gathering

We will enjoy a time of fellowship, encouragement, a beautiful musical interlude and we will hear inspiring stories from incredible women. Festive drinks and festive sweet treats will also be available. 

 

Timings: 4:30pm - 6pm Wednesday 6th December (the talks will commence at 5pm so please do arrive by then).

Speaker

Over the last twenty years, author and theologian Amy Orr-Ewing has given talks and answered questions around the world. She has also addressed Parliamentarians in the Speakers Rooms and Chapel at the UK Parliament and staffers on Capitol Hill, and at the West Wing of The White House. She regularly responds to invitations to speak in banks, businesses, and consultancy firms as well as churches and conferences and enjoys broadcasting in the media and giving public lectures. Amy is interested in the intersection of questions of meaning and faith within the marketplace, education and policymaking. Amy holds a doctorate (DPhil) in Theology from the University of Oxford, and serves as Honorary Lecturer in Divinity at the University Aberdeen.
